Kali ini saya akan
membahas salah satu band favorit saya, bernama "I See Stars"
I See Stars adalah post-hardcore band yang dibentuk pada
tahun 2006 dari Warren, Michigan. Mereka dianggap salah satu pelopor
utama munculnya subgenre electronicore. Album debut mereka, 3-D,
menampilkan Bizzy Bone dari Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. Album ini
menempati posisi # 176 di Billboard 200. Album kedua mereka, The
End of the World Party, dirilis pada 22 Februari 2011. Album studio
ketiga, Digital Renegade, dirilis pada 13 Maret 2012. Dalam
album Digital Renegade, mereka menunjukkan perubahan gaya musik yang lebih
agresif dari album yang sebelumnya.
Zach Johnson sebagai unclean
vokal dan keyboardis, meninggalkan band setelah rilis album 3-D pada
tanggal 14 April 2009. Band ini kemudian membandrol Chris Moore, mantan
personil "We Came as Romans" untuk bergabung sebagai unclean
vokal dan keyboardis baru. Pada 14 Juni 2010 keyboardis
band/screamer Chris Moore memutuskan untuk keluar dari band, dengan alasan
“perbedaan artistik”. Mantan anggota I See Stars Zach Johnson kembali
bergabung dengan I See Stars dan bergabung dengan mereka di Warped Tour
2010.
